In the spirit of NCAA Basketball and “March Madness,” Jamati.com gears up for a slam-dunk with the latest March issue. Next up, is an interview with Actor Van Vicker, who has carved a niche starring in an array of films coming out of the Ghana Film Industry. Van Vicker is of Liberian-Ghanaian and Dutch Descent and is generally cast as a romantic lead to a bevy of starlets, which has generated a cult following for him across the Diaspora. Van Vicker is best known for starring roles in the “Beyonce Movie Series,” which include “President’s Daughter,” “The Return of Beyonce,” “Mummy’s Daughter” and “Divine Love.” With the success of Van Vicker and others, the Ghanaian Film Industry is seen as strong competition for Nigeria’s Nollywood - with some wondering if Gollywood is next.
