Senegalese-American Hip-hop and R&B star Akon is rumored to be releasing a secret country western album. Akon wants to be the first Black man to really break it big into country music. Akon won’t be using his real name for this project and will go under an alias. Akon has told reporters that he is a big fan of country music and wants to show the world that he can make it big in that genre. “I’m about to break into a genre that no black artist, writer or producer has ever broken into,” Akon said while appearing on The Hook Up at BBC 1Xtra Live. “The funniest part is I’m going in under an alias and I’ve already got my first hit record.”

Well we don’t know the alias he might be going under or if this story is even true but if we find out more info on this make sure to check out Jamati.com for the latest.

So Kimora Lee has finally turned in her divorce papers and is ready to move on with her life. Kimora Lee and Russell Simmons have been married for 7 years. Now you didn’t hear this from us but there have always been whispers that Russell Simmons is gay and that their marriage was only a marriage for show. Kimora Lee has turned herself into a successful business woman and has taken the Baby Phat brand to great heights.

Then enters African born (Benin native to be exact) Djimon Hounsou, who many consider to be the sexiest man in Hollywood. Djimon and Kimora Lee have been spotted all over LA. They where seen at Mr. Chow’s, the popular restaurant in LA where just about everyone dining there is famous, and eyebrows where raised. Then photogs spotted them again getting romantic by holding hands at Il Sole and kissing at Hollywood hot spot Winston’s. Russell even said told the press that “He is a wonderful guy. A very sweet guy. I want her to be happy no matter what.”

The ink isn’t even dry on the papers Kimora Lee filed on Tuesday and there are rumors that Djimon and Kimora could be the next super hot Hollywood couple. And you can tell they will have some BEAUTIFUL babies together.

We here at Jamati.com are so sad to see Chikezie Eze depart so soon from American Idol. We where loving the richness of his voice and he was the best looking guy on the show. But his version of “If Only for One Night,” which was made popular by Luther Vandross, wasn’t enough to save him from elimination. But it’s all good, we know we will see Chikezie again…maybe on the pages of Jamati.com in fact.
